Issues to pay attention to during the construction of bridge pedestrian railings
During construction, accurate information on all facilities should be obtained, especially the precise location of various pipelines buried in the roadbed. No damage to underground facilities is permitted during construction. If underground communication lines, drainage pipes, or insufficient fill depth above culverts are encountered, the position of the posts should be adjusted, or the post fixing method should be changed.
If a post is driven in too deep, it should not be pulled out and corrected. Instead, all remaining posts should be removed, the foundation re-compacted, and then the posts driven in again, or the post position adjusted.
Bridge pedestrian railing should be installed with flange plates. Attention should be paid to the positioning of the flange plates and the control of the top surface elevation of the posts.
