Active rockfall netting stabilizes unstable slopes before failure occurs. High strength steel wire rope mesh anchors loose rock and soil, with support ropes distributing loads across multiple anchors. The open structure allows vegetation to establish, adding long term natural reinforcement. Used on slopes where preventive stabilization is required.
Passive rockfall wire mesh intercepts falling debris before it reaches protected zones. Steel wire rope mesh with integrated brake rings absorbs impact energy-tested to site specific kilojoule ratings. When rock strikes, the barrier deforms and energy-absorbing rings activate, bringing debris to a safe stop. Installed below cliffs, above infrastructure, and along high risk transport corridors.
